Tire Swing / "Great Canadian (Fake) Swimming Hole" planter and Zen Garden planter by Bentley Ball.

After seeing Outside the Planter Box installations taking place in his neighbourhood along Bloor Street West, Bentley asked one of the other artists about the project, and then decided to take part by installing these great planters of his own the very next day. Using materials at hand, he installed the "Great Canadian (Fake) Swimming Hole" - complete with tire swing - as a playful jab at the notorious fake lake created for the 2010 G20 summit here in Toronto. Across the street, and just outside of Bike Pirates, he also created a beautiful zen garden using bicycle tubes, gears, white rope, and sand.
